Volunteer Lifeline Telephone Crisis Supporters

This is the first step to becoming a volunteer Telephone Crisis Supporter and making a real difference in peoples’ lives. The generous support of the community is crucial to financing The Salvation Army's network of social and community programs in Ballarat.

Red Shield Appeal Volunteers

Support the 2017 Red Shield Neighbourhood Appeal by volunteering as a collector for just two or three hours and you can give hope where it's needed most. There are a couple of ways you can get involved including collecting at a shopping centre, outside a Bunnings store or at an intersection. (intersection requirement are, able-bodied and over the age of 16) The generous support of the community is crucial to financing The Salvation Army's network of social and community programs in Ballarat. The Red Shield Appeal is a fun and meaningful opportunity for people to help others in our community who are struggling with homelessness, domestic violence, unemployment, family crisis and addictions.
