Shifts lengths vary dependant on the role and you can pick the times and days that best suit you. A gallery attendant for example would typically be rostered for 3 1/2 hours on a morning or afternoon..

Support the 2017 Red Shield Neighbourhood Appeal by volunteering as a collector for just two or three hours and you can give hope where it's needed most. There are a couple of ways you can get involved including collecting at a shopping centre, outside a Bunnings store or at an intersection. (intersection requirement are, able-bodied and over the age of 16) The generous support of the community is crucial to financing The Salvation Army's network of social and community programs in Ballarat. The Red Shield Appeal is a fun and meaningful opportunity for people to help others in our community who are struggling with homelessness, domestic violence, unemployment, family crisis and addictions.
