In Ballarat the Anglicare Victoria Emergency Relief Program operates from 10.30am to 12.00pm Monday to Thursday at 12 Victoria St Bakery Hill. The program offers food relief for emergency situations where clients have run out of food and cannot afford to buy anymore.
This position is responsible for supporting and assisting the Anglicare Victoria Emergency Relief Coordinator to interview and assess the needs of people who require assistance and then assist them with their emergency relief processes. This role supports the Coordinator with client interviews to gauge their need and determines the required service and support within the policies and guidelines of the service. This role is also one which ensures that the volunteer conducting the assessment is safe and supported at all times.
