Rug Up Winter Festival – A cosy place to curl up with a book

RugUpForWinterV2.inddThe Ballarat Rug Up festival will include a weekend Winter Market held at the Mining Exchange.  The Market will feature a 3D quilt adorning the entire centre area of the Mining exchange and comprising of community group displays. the surrounding area and alcoves will be bursting with other stalls offering a huge range of winter related goodies.

The Ballarat Imagination Library will be there with a children’s book swap and reading area with cushions and books galore.  Bring along a book, swap it for another.

Volunteer readers will be in attendance to read books from the collection sent to children as part of the Imagination Library program.

A local pop up cafe run by Maggie & Kate  will be nearby and they will donate $1 to the Imagination Library from each tasting plate sold over the 2 day event.
